Schematic - Output in Color or Black and White

When a new Schematic Print is created the default will be Black and White.

Page setup is required to output a PDF schematic in color.

Create new Schematic Prints.



Right Click on Document and select Page Setup.




Select Color

Bug - Teardrops Endless Loop

When applying teardrops, Altium can get stuck in an endless loop if a VIA has numerous connections as shown below. 

To avoid the bug be sure to deselect vias like the one shown below before adding Teardrops to your design.







Altium's support center duplicated the problem and explained the problem was associated with this specific via.  

However this problem was not recognized as a bug and Altium has no plans to fix the problem as of Oct 11,2012.

It's my opinion that well written software tools should not get stuck in endless loops which require the use of CTRL+ALT+DEL keys to escape the loop.

A better solution would be allow the user to gracefully escape the endless loop if the user presses the Esc key.
